AI receptionist for home-service trades

Stop sending callers to voicemail.

We set up and run an AI receptionist for phone-driven home-service shops—HVAC, plumbing, electrical, roofing, garage doors, landscaping, pest control, and similar trades. It answers your phone and website chat, books routine jobs on your calendar, sends emergencies straight to you, and texts you every detail.

On the call, we'll tell you straight if this isn't a fit for your shop.

  • Tells callers it's an AI
  • Emergencies go to a person
  • You keep your number and data
  • Set up and supported in the US

The phone rings at the worst possible time

Sound familiar? Most shops lose jobs to voicemail while the crew is on a job site.

You're under a house.

The phone rings. By the time you call back, they've hired someone else.

It's after hours.

Calls go to voicemail, or to your cell in the middle of dinner.

The first cold snap hits.

Everyone needs you at once, and the phone doesn't stop.

You just trained a new front desk person.

Again.

Your AI receptionist picks up when you can't, and it never leaves for another job.

One setup fee. One monthly price.

Catch has no AI phone minutes; Answer and Full Desk include voice minutes with overage capped by you. No software to buy—our prices are on the site before you talk to us.

A front desk that covers the calls you can't get to

We build it around your shop's rules, test it with you, and keep tuning it every month.

Answers your phone

Picks up when you can't. Says it's your shop's AI assistant, then gets the caller's name, address, and problem.

Books routine jobs

Puts tune-ups, quotes, and non-urgent repairs on your calendar and texts the customer a confirmation.

Hands emergencies to you

No heat, no AC, a gas smell, a leak, or someone asking for a person goes straight to you or your on-call tech.

Set up and run for you

We build it, test it with you before it goes live, and check in every month to make it better.

Also covers website chat, caller questions about your services, hours, and service area from what you approve, plus nights, weekends, and overflow when you want it.

Three steps to go live

  1. A 20-minute call

We learn how your calls get handled today and tell you straight whether this would help.

  2. Your rules

Service area, hours, what counts as an emergency, who gets the handoff, and anything it should never say. You approve the script.

  3. Go live

We connect it to your website and phone line, test it with you, then review how it's doing together every month.

Your part takes about 30–60 minutes for setup and testing, by our estimate.

What we promise, and what we don't

What we'll do

  • Tell every caller it's an AI, up front
  • Send every emergency to a person
  • Let you approve the script before it goes live
  • Show you every call and chat
  • Check in monthly and make the changes you ask for
  • Leave your phone number and customer data in your hands

What we won't do

  • Promise you a number of booked jobs. Nobody honestly can.
  • Make sales calls with AI
  • Pretend to be a person
  • Guess when it doesn't know. It takes a message instead.
  • Hide fees. Catch has no AI phone minutes. Answer includes 200 voice minutes, then $0.35/min; Full Desk includes 500, then $0.30/min. Extra minutes are billed up to a monthly cap you set, billed monthly.

Service area

Built for home-service shops

  • Routine jobs booked on your calendar
  • Emergencies handed to you or your on-call tech

Questions owners ask first

Will callers know it's an AI?

Yes. The greeting says it's your shop's AI assistant and that the call may be recorded. If anyone asks, it tells the truth, and anyone can ask for a person.

What can it answer?

Questions about your business that you've approved: services, service area, hours, pricing ranges or trip charges, warranties and policies, financing if you offer it, and what customers should expect on a visit. On website chat, it can answer from the pages on your site because we train it on that content—it doesn't browse the web live. If a question isn't covered, it doesn't guess. It takes a message and texts you.

What happens with an emergency?

You decide what counts: no heat, no AC, a gas smell, an active leak, anyone asking for a person. Those calls go straight to you or your on-call tech, by transfer or an instant text. For a gas smell or a carbon monoxide alarm, it first tells the caller to get outside and call 911 or the gas company.

What if it doesn't know the answer?

It doesn't guess. It takes a message and texts it to you right away.

Can I keep my office person or answering service?

Yes. It can cover just after hours and overflow, so your team still takes the calls they can get to.

Do I need a new phone number?

No. You keep your main number. We forward calls to your AI receptionist only when you want it to answer: after hours, overflow, or every call.

How much does it cost?

Catch is $500 setup and $199/mo—missed-call text-back and website chat, with no AI phone minutes. Answer is $1,500 setup and $500/mo, with 200 voice minutes included, then $0.35/min up to your monthly cap. Full Desk is $2,500 setup and $850/mo, with 500 minutes included, then $0.30/min up to your monthly cap. See all plans on the pricing page.
